So I finally went and saw "Journey to the Center of the Earth"! Loved it! It was nice to see that it was really like an "inspired by the original novel" take on it, rather than a page-for-page remake. Playing in Verne's world with new characters, with nods to the original novel, and even a few of his quirks. Plus I always love Brendan Fraser. ( Read more... )

Okay, I just watched what has to be one of the worst films EVER MADE. MST3K seriously missed the boat on doing this one.

Those of us in the killer whale circles have no doubt heard of a movie called "Keiko En Peligro," a Mexican movie from the late 80s. Well, Netflix had it, and luckily it had English subtitles, so I gave it a go...
